Calcium Nitrate & Magnesium Nitrate

Calcium Nitrate

Our experience started in the early nineties by designing and commissioning a Calcium Nitrate (CN) Granulation plant from calcium carbonate and weak nitric acid as feedstock.

Since then, our experience enhances with new calcium nitrate granulation plants from the CNTH crystals from the Nitro-phosphate as feedstock.

In particular, our proprietary purification technology can reduce the impurities coming from the raw materials below 500 ppm for fully water-soluble fertilizer grade and 100ppm for its industrial application.

The calcium nitrate solution is then evaporated in the falling film evaporators up to the desired concentrations for the different solidification processes.

Calcium nitrate could be produced in form of prills, granules, and pastilles respectively with prilling, granulation, and pastillation processes.

Magnesium Nitrate

Pilot plant tests have been started since 2010. The magnesium nitrate is synthesized from weak nitric acid and magnesite or brucite and then the magnesium nitrate solution is purified and evaporated up to the required concentration.

The magnesium nitrate at different concentrations, with or without additive, has been tested for prilling and pastillation. Both prills and pastilles of good physical quality have been obtained under optimal operating parameters.
